Shoot! What you love

Prasenjeet Gautam

When you begin photography as a hobbyist, the most important challenge is to face? The challenge is none other than finalising the photography genres. What to shoot? It is quite difficult to choose the photography genres. No teacher can help you to choose. In this confusing situation, you are the only one to help yourself. It is just like which course to choose after completing your 12th class. Everybody faces this situation at the beginning of his career.

There are a few questions that might have confused you. these questions are mentioned below

  • Which photography genres have more scope
  • Which photography genres demand more investment
  • Which genres will earn more money for you
  • Which location has more potential

Everybody wanna choose those genres which may generate more money, more opportunity, less effort, less education etc But choosing photography genres is something very tough to choose. But if we are looking for better future opportunities then we have to go through this. All photography genres have good potential but depend upon the photographer how he proceeds with these specific genres, How a photographer presents his work, client handling, power of understanding the projects, on the top of it what he thinks about this.

What do I feel like as a photographer or what can I suggest to all beginner photographers?

  • Keep on shooting in the beginning for all the preferred photography genres
  • Do not make any negative opinions for any photography genres.
  • Always be positive to shoot the subject, photography genres does not matter.
  • Understand the basics of photography in deep and perform well always.
  • Shoot what you love to shoot.
  • Choose your genres with your choices, liking etc.

Conclusion – Once your five years of photography are completed then automatically your loving preferred photography genres will be revealed to you to follow. In this five years duration, you will be well enough experienced to choose your photography genres. Every renowned, famous photographer went through the same process. No photographer was well enough experienced in the beginning to finalise the photography genres. Everybody was a beginner, hobbyist photographer. Every photography journey starts from here only. Remember. Never choose that photography genres which is finalised by others for you. Choose what you love to shoot. Like everybody shooting for wedding and you also start shooting weddings because other photographers shooting. NO and Never, choose your genres and follow your likings and inner consent.

Keep experimenting! Have a wonderful and happy photography life for you all
