Lots of beginner photographer always keep on asking this question because they are always confused between free lancer and Professional photographer. Today I am writing this article about professional photographer.

What is a Pro-Photographer? A professional photographer is a person, who has been a full-time photographer for his entire life or career. No other income source, no other work etc

• They keep buying expensive photography gears as per their requirement or as technology changed. They have one purpose to shoot amazingly.
• Their earning source is only through the photography business
• They are maintaining a photography company with the help of a website, blogs, social media platform etc
• They advertise for their brand building and spend a hell lot of money on it
• They hire another team person as per the shooting requirement and also keep them on salary.
• They maintain client relationships and maintain
• A professional photographer is a photographer who earns 100% of his income from photography

Challenges

• He needs to invest lots of money in buying expensive kit because he has to establish his brand and name. In the beginning, arranging money is a project or tough project because nobody believe in you.
• He spent lots of money for brand building like client relationships, touring, managing studio and staff expenses etc
• In the beginning, they struggle a lot to fetch new and big client
• They suffer a lot to maintain their photos and video bank
• Lots of struggle to earn client’s faith and confidence etc
• Sometimes they do not get a project for so long time and suffer through financial crunches
• Sometimes they have to face lots of criticism for not so doing well.

Being a pro photographer, people think that this will be quite easy to become a full-time or pro photographer but some photographer spend their 20-25 years of struggle to reach at the top level and build their brand image in the masses and classes successfully. Every profession is quite challenging but how you handle those challenges is your winning performance. Nobody has achieved the BRAND TAG without facing challenges and struggles.

Conclusion – What you want from you thats important, Thats not important what other expect from you. I have met few engineers who become photographer. I know one or two Dr who become engineers. So it is you who decide better plans, life, career, happiness etc. Choose life wisely.
