Explore MORNING LIGHT’s charisma

Prasenjeet Gautam

Most of my student, beginner photographer always ask one common question, ‘Which is the best light for photography” The answer is, Morning light is the best light to shoot travel, landscape, even portrait, models, etc. Even film shoot are always shot in the morning light. It is not only my opinion but it is a universal truth. Every filmmaker, photographer, videographer etc always preferred to shoot in the morning light and It cut your cost also. If anybody looking for serious photography, videography etc then start experiment with morning light.

Morning light is a blessing for photography, If anybody is capable of handling natural light, morning light then no one can stop you to become a better successful photographer. Now let’s discuss why morning light is better and why we need to choose morning light to shoot.

Let’s discuss the few important things to choose better morning light.

No pollution/No Dust – When you reach a spot to shoot in the morning. Before the sun rising, all the pollution level/dust level come down and you will get a better clean sky to shoot and much better colours of nature.

Pure light – In the early morning, there is nothing in between you and the sunlight, all dust particles and pollution are disappeared from the environment or settled down on the ground level. Now You have pure and clean light to shoot. Pure and cleans falls off on the subject and make your subject better to shoot.

Amazing Results– No artificial lights ever give you amazing results as compared to the amazing morning light. Clean, dust-free, pollution-free light always enhance the colours of nature and natural things. Every animal, bird looks always better as compared to shooting them in the evening. If you plan to shoot a model then the model will look fresher and more promising. Morning shot always perform better as a photography tool. Remember

Less photography equipment – When shooting in the morning, you need not carry many photography accessories, no need to carry extra burden or liability. This will help you to focus on your subject to capture rather than handling and caring for your accessories.

Conclusion – The most important thing to follow, Always reach the shooting location before the sun Rising, you must note in your notebook. If you and your other teammates delay in reaching the shooting spot then there is a 90% chances to cancel the shot or you need to revisit the location or come again to shoot. This might have consumed your energy, money and other efforts. Never ever delay in reaching the shooting location.

Keep experimenting and have a wonderful and happy photography life for you all.
